Why you might come to counselling…

Life is like a jigsaw

Sometimes no matter how hard we try the pieces just will not fit together.

When we cannot find the answer, this can cause stress and anxiety sometimes leading to depression.

Grief is as individual as you are

There is no right or wrong way to grieve. Bereavement can leave us feeling as though life no longer makes sense, a big hole has appeared and as the weeks and months go by, we start to question if it is normal to feel this way.

Counselling can help you recognise it is normal, as you process your memories without the fear of causing upset to the ones you love.

In a confidential space you will be supported to speak openly about your grief, be heard with compassion and listened to without judgement.

It can be exhausting and stressful carrying around our worries day after day

Who’s talking?

Beliefs we hold about ourselves can be unhelpful, we may wonder why we think and behave the way we do when it causes us so much distress.

With counselling you can explore your belief system, looking and recognising if the beliefs you hold are truly yours or messages you have picked up along the way.
